I am delighted to welcome you to GBI.
GBI is a young company; incorporated in December 2008 we will start offering
service in early 2011. I am excited about our company’s future and the market we
are entering.
We achieved a great deal
in less than 3 months from the incorporation date of the Company as we managed
to secure full funding of our project, appointed our leadership team, and
appointed our strategic partners.
In addition, we have signed MOU’s for landing party agreements in all of the
Gulf countries.
GBI enters the market at a time of tremendous growth in demand for regional
bandwidth capacity, reflecting the pace at which both consumers and businesses
in the Gulf are increasing their usage of all types of telecommunication
services.
GBI will play a key role in facilitating this growth. We look forward to working
with both regional and global carriers as the Middle East becomes an even more
important strategic hub in the global economy.
